Similar to how a carpenter sharpens his tools to gradually uncover the inner beauty of a tree trunk, the CNC milling machine, guided flawlessly by a digital sculptor-program, removes layer by layer from a block of solid wood until the intended shape is achieved. Then comes the process of gluing, filling, sanding, craftsmanship, the touch of hands, and attention to detail. The final phase, the most beautiful one, is the application of natural oils and waxes. The wood comes to life, and its natural grain truly shines. We have created natural furniture, a companion for a lifetime.

Handmade
We dare say that products from the Handmade collection best characterize our company, SITUS. We love softness, elegance, and organic shapes. The Handmade collection is a continuation of the Figure collection. The goal is to create pieces that feel light, even though they are made entirely of wood. The details, like those in our other products, are hand-finished. Softness, elegance, and fluidity.

Maya
Maya means "rounded-angular" in a foreign language. By combining organic shapes with edges, we created the basic design visual for the Maya collection. The first and most challenging task was the production of a fully wooden chair with a padded seat. We created a 3D milled backrest from solid wood, connected to a sculpted and lightweight base. Although the chair is made entirely of wood, it is very easy to handle thanks to the cutout in the backrest. A table, Maya, was also created to accompany the chair. The collection will be expanding soon.
